I regularly forward coaching clients links to useful resources on the web. I thought others might find them useful too. Many of the resources are entirely free including courses, assessments, questionnaires, MP3 downloads and alike.
So here are the top ten. They are all hyperlinked, so just click on the titles to take you straight there. I would like to make it the top 20, 30, 40 etc overtime, so let me know if you think there are hot resources out there that could be included.
The VIA Institute. The VIA Institute is a non-profit organization, based in Cincinnati, Ohio, dedicated to bringing the science of character strengths to the world through supporting research, creating and validating surveys of character, and developing practical tools for individuals and practitioners.

The Happiness Trap. Home of the best selling publication. The website provides a range of rich resources to enhance wellbeing.
Project Happiness Specialises in emotional resilience-building programs that are used by people of any age and endorsed by public schools, private institutions and Universities around the U.S. and the world. Their purpose is to provide proven techniques to cultivate one’s own authentic happiness.
The Langley Group Institute. The Langley Group Institute is an Australian nationally recognised Registered Training Organisation dedicated to inspiring people to realise their potential through positive, evidence-based personal and professional development. Part of the Langley Group of companies, we offer training around the world.
The Pursuit of Happiness. The Pursuit of Happiness Project is not a business. They are a nonprofit. They do not claim to have found the precise formula for human happiness. This claim would of course make it much easier for us to raise funds. They only claim that science is guiding us closer and closer to knowing the answer, and that we should make the scientific study of happiness, and how to implement it, a top priority.
Happiness Alliance. Their mission is to improve the well-being of society by increasing understanding and appreciation of the factors that lead to life satisfaction, resilience and sustainability. In addition to economic status, they focus on examining sectors that span social, environmental and governance quality.
Authentic Happiness. University of Pennsylvania The purpose of this website is to provide free resources where people can learn about Positive Psychology through readings, videos, research, opportunities, conferences, questionnaires with feedback and more. There is no charge for the use of this site. If you would like to take the questionnaires, you first need to register.
Community of Interbeing. Is a growing network of people in the UK who practise mindfulness and aspire to develop peace and happiness in themselves and in the world, by living according to the teachings on global ethics of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.
